Introduction

Function
As Site Manager, you are the key link between the Project Manager and the team carrying out the work on site or on board a vessel. You ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
You manage and coordinate the day-to-day work of various trades, including welders and fitters. You monitor project progress, identify issues, and make adjustments when needed. You also prepare Daily Progress Reports and work closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders on daily planning.
On smaller projects, you may take on some Project Manager responsibilities alongside your Site Manager duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily work on site and on board vessels;
- Coordinate welders, fitters, and other technical trades;
- Monitor schedules, progress, quality, and safety;
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports;
- Identify issues and adjust the work in a timely manner;
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, and site teams;
- Supervise steel and structural work, including seafastening and modifications;
- Support project management tasks when needed.
Requirements
Experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor, or in a similar technical role;
- Strong knowledge of steel structures, welding, and fitting;
- Experience in the maritime, offshore, shipbuilding, or heavy construction sector;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- A hands-on approach and problem-solving ability;
- Ability to manage projects and site teams independently;
- Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage;
- Willingness to work offshore occasionally.
