Organization
We are looking for an experienced Welder to join the fabrication department in Heijningen, Netherlands. The Fabrication Department handles fabrication, testing and coating tasks in support of the company’s offshore operations. The welder is expected to perform effective and efficient welding of the highest level, on-site. The ideal candidate has experience with a wide range of materials, has already completed several repair and fabrication jobs, and has a good understanding of engineering drawings and technical project data.
Function
As a Welder you will perform the following duties: Planning together with your foreman all related welding work at the start of a new project. Perform and visually inspect your welding work and inform your foreman. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and evaluate if further maintenance is needed. During all this work you are mindful of your own safety and the safety of your colleagues.
Requirements
- In possession of a MIGMAG (1.2 mm) certification;
- Knowledge and experience to read WPS documents;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the offshore/steel industry;
- Good command of the English or Dutch language, both verbal and written;
- True team player and have high safety awareness.
