OAK Offshore is seeking 2 experienced Marine Supervisors to join our team and to support different projects in the Pacific.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll be responsible for providing operational supervision and support to crews and vessels operating in the Pacific region.
Function
Your Role:
Reporting to the Marine Superintendent, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day vessel operations across multiple sites in the Pacific. This includes:
- Providing operational support and supervision to marine crews and vessels.
- Ensuring vessel compliance with safety, certification and maintenance standards.
- Conducting audtis, checklists and system checks to uphold regulatory and internal compliance.
- Leading crew training and development, including system use and record-keeping.
- Supporting planning and execution of operational and maintenance activities.
- Attending voyages at sea to monitor vessel and crew performance.
- Overseeing cargo operations, marine plant movements and yard preparations.
- Collaborating with technical, logistiscs and marine teams to resolve mechanical or fleet issues.
Requirements
What were looking for:
- Proven experience in marine operations, including tug and barge management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- STCW II/3 – Master, Near Coastal
- In addition STWC III/1 (desirable)
- STCW Medical
- GMDSS (desirable)
