We are offering several hands-on Project/Field Engineers positions as member of our project team to assist several offshore projects world-side such as Heavy Lift, Subsea- and Pipelay installation.
Organization
The Project/Field Engineer will be offshore stationed (in rotation) on one of our partner’s Heavy Lift/Subsea Installation- or Pipe Lay vessel.You’re closely working together with vessel crew and onshore project team.
Function
- Oversee the preparation of all engineering and operational/installation procedures and drawings related to the offshore project requirements.
- Review project scope, engineering requirements and ensure that all work will be performed complies with the requirements of the project.
- Perform discipline check of the procedures, drawings and lift plans.
- Responsible for the project- materials- and spare part list in close liaison with the procurement department.
- Assist with the mobilization of vessel and project equipment and materials in liaison with project team and crew.
- Support during project and discipline meetings and actions to be closed out in a timely manner.
- Prepare the daily progress report (DPR).
- Responsible for development and keeping track of concession request and MOC’s.
- Responsible for the documentation distribution offshore.
- Ensure and liaise with internal department that all HSEQ requirements for the project are met.
- Assist the Superintendent/OCM when required.
- Provide input for the project close out report.
Requirements
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in similar role.
- Awareness and understanding of engineering design and calculations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Excellent in English language, verbal and written.
