We believe it is of great importance that personal data is handled with care. Personal data are therefore processed and secured with great care.
The purpose of our privacy statement is to inform each individual and visitors of our website how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information and your rights.
Oak offshore processes personal information when you use our services or decide to make your information available to us for employment and employees or for the purpose of providing you with information and or services.
We thereby process privacy-sensitive information, also known as personal data. In some cases we work together with other organisations or companies.
Oak Offshore complies with the rules from the European privacy legislation (GDPR). This means for example that we:

HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL DATA
When using our services, you are able to leave certain data behind. That may be personal data. Depending on the services and functionalities that can be used on our website or through Oak Offshore application forms, we may process the following personal data from you:
- First and last name;
- Address;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Date of birth;
- Education and training level (by copy of certificates);
- Experience (by copy of resume);
- Provided information in a blank space, for instance on a contact form.
We also like to send you personalized information about vacancies or other services by e-mail. We will only send you this e-mail after you have registered yourself and have given permission to receive these e-mails. Each e-mail contains an unsubscribe link.
PURPOSES
We process the above mentioned data for one or more of the following purposes:
- Selection and recruitment process;
- To provide the candidate or client with services that are better tailored to your personal needs;
- To provide proposals and services;
- Development of employment or consultancy contracts;
- Development of service agreements;
- Career planning i.e. education and/or training;
- Legally obligation to provide data to employee insurance agency (UWV) in relation to sickness and occupational rehabilitation;
- (social) insurance schemes;

SHARING INFORMATION to third parties
Oak offshore may share your personal data to other companies, institutions or third parties when this is necessary for our service (only after written approval by the individual), or if we are legally obliged to do so. We may share your personal date to:

- Insurance providers;
- IT provider;
- Training Centres;
- Travel Agency;
- Suppliers.
If we disclosure your personal to third parties, we will make sure to enter an additional data process agreement in order to protect the required personnel information provided by Oak Offshore.
COOKIES
Cookies are small files that are sent with the pages of a website and stored by your browser on the hard disk of your computer. The stored information can be returned to the servers on a next visit. Oak Offshore uses Google Analytics to automatically collect certain types of information when you are visiting Oak Offshore website. This information enables Oak Offshore to improve the effectiveness of our services and to measure the effectiveness of Oak Offshore marketing activities. Google Analytics uses cookies.
SECURITY AND STORAGE
The security of information is important to us, and we are committed to using reasonable technical, practical and organisation measures to protect the information we may collect through the website.
We do not store personal data longer than necessary. This means that we keep the data as long as necessary to deliver the service you have requested. The provided personal data shall be saved for a maximum of 2 years. After 2 years the personal data will be removed or again saved for another 2 years by instruction of each individual. If we need to keep data longer, because the law obliges us to do so, we will storage the personal data as long as the law us obliges to.

Oak Offshore reserve the right to change or amend this Privacy Statement from time to time and will post any revisions on our website.
